Self-Catering


  1. Bookings will be secured upon receipt of a non-returnable deposit calculated at 50% of total booking.
  2. Payment of the balance of the total cost of the booking is to be paid no later than 4 (four) weeks prior to arrival date of the booking.
  3. If you should have to cancel your booking after paying the balance every effort will be made by the Proprietor to re-let the accommodation for the period booked. If successful, a refund of monies will be paid less the deposit.
  4. Unless by prior agreement, the accommodation will be made available from 14:00 hrs on your day of arrival. If you intend to arrive later than 9pm this is fine as long as it has been prearranged. The accommodation must be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your stay.
  5. The cost of the accommodation does not include services of water and electricity. Said services each have a separate usage meter charged at the current standard rate as per the French water & electricity providers. Cleaning and laundry charges : € 50 (payable on departure).
  6. The accommodation has adequate facilities for all cooking that may be necessary i.e. all kitchen pots & pans, utensils, crockery, glassware, cutlery, etc are provided. A barbeque is also available for outside cooking.
  7. All bed linen and bath towels usage are included in the price.
  8. A washing machine has been provided for your use in your accommodation. There is also an iron and ironing board.
  9. The applicant (and all persons occupying the accommodation) undertake to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures and fittings in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the stay and also undertake to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and order as when they arrived.

     

    The Proprietor of 20 Rue des Pountils shall be compensated by the applicant for any damage and breakages which may occur and any excess cleaning that is required, sole interpretation in the event will be by the Proprietor.

     

    A cash security deposit of €300 will be required from the applicant at check in for any of the above. Upon check out, the Proprietor, or the Proprietor's representative, together with the applicant will inspect the accommodation to assess for any damage and breakages and or any excess cleaning that may be required. The Proprietor shall be reasonably compensated by the applicant for any damage and breakages which may occur and any excess cleaning that is required, sole interpretation in the event will be by the proprietor.

  10. The Proprietor reserves the right to be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time.
  11. The number of persons using the accommodation is not to exceed the maximum number stated in the property description or indicated on the booking form. A baby cot is available upon request at no extra charge.
  12. The Proprietor reserves the right to refuse any booking request.
  13. All visitors and or guests must act in a reasonable manner and have consideration for other visitors.
  14. Use of the Proprietor's swimming pool is permitted. The applicant and all persons occupying the accommodation, including any guests, undertake to use the pool in a responsible manner and not to indulge in and or permit any horseplay around and or in the pool. In the event an accident occurs while using the pool, the Proprietor accepts no liability with regards to injury to the applicant and or applicant's guests and or person's occupying the accommodation.
  15. The applicant and all adult persons occupying the accommodation including any adult guests undertake:
    • To be permanently at the pool observing any minor children who may be making use of the pool facility.
    • In the event that an above mentioned adult is unable to observe such minors' use of the pool, the minors will not be permitted to use the pool and the pool gate will be latched by an above mentioned adult to ensure minors cannot enter the pool area unattended by a suitable adult within the applicant's group.
  16. The accommodation is strictly a non-smoking establishment.
  17. The Proprietor or the Proprietor's agents cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to personal property however caused.
  18. If any visitor fails to observe any of the conditions the Proprietor reserves the right to require the visitor to vacate the accommodation at once without any recompense.
  19. The Proprietor reserves the right to cancel any booking already made if, in the unlikely event, the accommodation becomes unavailable for reasons outside of the Proprietor's control. The Proprietor's limit of liability shall be a full refund of monies paid.
  20. Payment can be made by bank transfer into Proprietors bank account as detailed on the booking confirmation.

 

Cancellation


If, for any reason, you require to cancel your booking, please contact the Proprietor as soon as possible - telephone is best - +33 (0)4 679 575 67 or mobile +33 (0) 607 372 551. If the Proprietor is unable to re-let the accommodation, please note that as you entered into a contract at the time of booking, the following charges will apply:

 

 

We strongly advise you take out travel insurance at time of booking.
